The Prophecy On P-Square Quagmire

A certain prophet in Zimbabwe prophesied that the long-time old (and now former) ruler would die and as soon as his prophecy hit the public domain, he was immediately arrested and arraigned. Recent events in Zimbabwe did not exactly do justice to the prophecy but what is a Mugabe without power? Prophecies may not play out exactly the same way they are told but it’s a warning to avert certain calamities or prepare the mind for opportunities to come.

An old popular joke comes to mind about a prophecy where a young man is told by a prophet that he was seen in a vision where he was driving a big car with lots of girls around him. The excited man ended up becoming a bus driver in a girl’s secondary school. I guess he did not work hard towards becoming a successful dude or his village people immediately went to work on his destiny but I will place my money on the former.

I recently had a revelation while minding my business. Apart from the fact that I am one of the earliest fans of the Okoye twins, I have never met them in person neither do I look forward to meeting them because they have lost the bite that endeared me to them in the first place. I pray Jude “Engees” Okoye will not come after me just the same way he threatened his kid brother without minding the fact that the young man is now a husband and a father of two. Back to the prophecy, Jude will end up picking and dusting his camera lens and tripod stand. He will soon start hunting for good scripts because music management is off his table. His brothers have split and even his music label signee Cynthia Morgan got her career killed under his able watch and she ended up becoming a red cow with a ring in her nose.

Peter should start procuring equipment and facilities for a dance school. He is undeniably a better dancer than a singer (though his recent work has proved he is an excellent singer). He can as well hone his acting skills because he is drama personified. I see him performing in videos for Davido and Kiss Daniel. Speed Darlington will also contact him to perform for him in a music video to be released later this year.

As for Paul, he is a very good singer and will do well performing live shows in “beer parlours” and some choice bars in Lagos. I know some good spots in Aba, Nnewi, Onitsha, Enugu and Owerri where his trade will be well appreciated. Another thing that will work for him is collaborations. He should go to those upcoming acts they have been ignoring over the years. Paul should endeavour to change his singing style because it is already synonymous with the rested P-Square. He should re-discover himself and his style. They should all consider real estate since they have properties scattered around.

My Prophecies are most likely to come to pass except the brothers paly out a script titled “strength in unity”. It is always tough for a music group that has excelled together to continue excelling as single individual artistes. In most cases just one may become a shining star. In this case it is likely to be Peter also known as Mr. P. if the group should eventually sort out their differences, it will be wise they set up a new structure under a new management. Family business is bad business except on rare occasions and it comes with so much challenges.

Talking about a new structure for the sibling group, Nigeria needs same advice in terms of restructuring. I rest my case at this point. Share your thoughts and opinions by commenting.
